Small dog crochet sweater

Hi everyone! My husband brought home a cute little 6 month old deer chihuahua (we think) that we were supposed to dog-sit for a friend that just moved. He said it was for a day but it's been several now. I am trying very hard not to fall for her but... She has on the ugliest navy sweater and I would really like to crochet her something more feminine. I need a pattern that isn't too difficult. I've never done anything fitted before mostly purses, pillows and a couple throws. Any suggestions?
