Some of my new creations
About half of what I had in my store was Christmas, so I've been trying to make items that aren't so seasonally defined. I have been bitten by the bracelet bug, and here re a few pics of what I've done so far.

Patterns for Bracelets
vicarno's mama: Gratis haakpatroon armbanden - This is the site for the bangle and magnetic clasp bangles. It is in Dutch, so I used google translate, but it was still a bit of a struggle to understand the instructions. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but the translations I get (not the built-in ones on some sites) from either google or bing leave a lot to be desired. The ones with the beads use a hairpin lace tool and the pattern is located at: nadessa at work 2:. This site doesn't really have a written pattern; I gleaned most of it from the pictures. Of course my bracelet doesn't look like the one on the website, either! I used size 10 crochet thread and 5mm pony beads. If you have any problems with the website info, let me know and I'll tell you what I did for the pattern(s).
I ordered the metal magnetic clasps from China (ok, shoot me!) but that was the only place I could find what I was looking for. You glue the ends into the barrel of the cylinder type, and you sew/glue the gold ones in place. Also, the thicker bangles were stuffed with polyester fiberfill. And do understand that the bangles I made are not stiff, but you could use a wire to stiffen them. I did look up sizes for bracelets: 6 1/2" = XS, 7" = S, 7 1/2" = M, 8" = L, 8 1/2" = XL. Depending on the style, it seems good to have a bracelet 1/2" to 1" larger than your wrist. I hope this helps!
