I have been crocheting since I was a teen. I learned by counting stitches off of another item, then I learned to read the pattern. Much prefer the later. One you accomplish the reading of a pattern, the sky is the limit for making articles. I so encourage people to learn the art of crochet. I also look forward to finding older patterns. I guess it is nostalgic for me.
