    No, actually he doesn't do any of the village at all. It is really just a one person job. His job is to set up the track, train and the tunnel before I start on the village. You can't see it, but there are three tunnels going from the left side around to the back of the tree. He is a big train buff! I then cover the tunnels with a sheet and start building the village and hiding the cords as I go. The last thing to do is put in the fences, people, trees and cars. FUN!

    The Train is Super cute, I have my 55 yr olds Train a few car gone, and 2 minatures I like to get up this Xmas as Your Decorating has inspired me to do it. Thanks

    Hi Susan, The train is a 1936 American Flier Hiawatha. It is the train that is in one of the first scenes of the movie "A Christmas Story", where the kids have their noses pressed to the window of the toy store. My Husband loves that old train and this is the first year we put it around the tree. We usually run one of our other many trains. I'd love to see pics of your train if you get it up. So glad I could inspire you!!!

    That village is beautiful, hope you have children or grandchildren to enjoy it with you. The Christmas tree is beautiful also.
