Hello out there! I finally decided to post a note from Northern Kentucky. Newly retired and not adjusting well YET. My passion for crochet got side tracked by a 22 year career as a government employee. I am having a difficult time refocusing and completing even small projects I undertake. Just though some may have had same experience and like to provide input. Tish

Welcome, Tish. I've been retired for a while now, and truly love it. It is an adjustment after getting up and going to a job every day for years, I know. When I first retired, I couldn't seem to settle down and organize my time very well, either. I was so used to NOT having free time, and squeezing projects in here and there. Then when I had whole days to myself, I let time get away from me without accomplishing much, lol. I joked that I got more done when I worked!

Give yourself a little time to develop a "new normal." It's okay to have days when not much gets done but the basics. Ask me how I know - ha!
