can you use 100 % acrylic #4 yarn to make a slouchy beanie? I am making one now for someone. I have never made one of these before. What is the best yarn to use to make one? thank

I like using caron simply soft best! The softer yarns seem to turn out much better! I tried with RED HEART LOVE and it was too bulky! It is really your preference the caron simply soft is #4 acrylic but works up differently! I have made a few with #3 baby yarn as well and look nice! Just make 1 with what you have and see if you like it, you will find certain yarns work differently! Hope that helped! LOVE YOUR FRIEND MANDA!
