My Christmas gift

Last night was my meeting for my crochet/knit group. We always exchange Christmas gifts and it is always fun to see what we all get. I was thrilled to see I got two skeins of yarn that I had not yet tried. One is Boutique Changes in color Garnet, and the other is the Boutique Chic in black, that is the one with the pom poms on it.

Has anyone else worked with these two yarn, and how did you like them if you have. I am looking for patterns now for them.
