Update on Puffy Christmas tree gift

A while back, I had posted a pic of the puffy Christmas tree that I made in my very first quilting class. It was to be a gift for my friend.

Well, she came over today and I gave it to her. She loved it and said it is something she will treasure for the rest of her life. She was going home to put it on her door. I put one of those labels that said Made Especially for You by Roseanna on it (just like I did for the handmade afghan I gave her another time). She is not crafty and really appreciates the work that goes into handmade gifts.

Just got a text from her, it is on her door now. She lives in a town senior housing apartment complex and put it on her apartment door so all could see it. Though she said she may put it inside where she can look at it more. In any case, it made a hit.
