This is the hat that I said I was crocheting for my neighbor who wants it for her husband.
The letter M that's on the hat was crocheted all in one piece. I found the video online on how to crochet the letter M. I'm thinking the piece of yarn I was crocheting with wasn't long enough and had to add another piece of yarn maybe. But it was crocheted all in one piece!

I gave the hat to my neighbor. I asked her for $60 for the hat. She said she was sorry; she didn't think it would be that much. So I asked her how much she thought $45 or $50? She said the most she would pay for it was $50 and she gave me $50 for it. Now I'm wondering if I should give her $5 back? She is a good friend. What do you think?

Hi, I have no idea on pricing handmade items. Maybe you could sell it to her cheap (1/2 price $25) so word of mouth gets out that you are selling some handmade items. But be sure and tell your friend that the one you sold her was reduced because she is a friend.
