    Hi Spoula,
I h aven't sole any baby dresses yet and don't know where to sell them or how much to charge. The purple yarn I'm using is a light purple more like lavender. I'm glad your dress is turning out.

    Hi Jean Marie,

I like your colors the dress is so cute. I would never have thought about so many colors for that Sailor dress pattern. I still want to make that one too. I guess I will stick to the plain version.
You out did yourself on this one.

    Hi Spoula,
Thanks! I only had so much of each color so I had to use what I had. That's why there's more than one color. I have 12 rows/rnds done on the purple dress.

Hi Jean Marie, The colors you chose worked out nicely. Wow 12 rows you don't have too much left to do. The shells work up fast as they are repeats. I look forward to seeing the finished dress.

    Hi Spoula,
I just finished rnd 17 on the skirt part of the purple dress. I already ran out of the lavender yarn I was using and used some baby yarn - lavender color and I don't have enough for another rnd. I have a pink yarn(it's between pink and orange; I don't know what color to call it, maybe salmon color) I could use but I think it's long enough for a newborn. There are 3 or 4 rnds of shells w/3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc, looks like 3 rnd. of 4 dc, ch 2, 4 dc, and 3 rnds of shells w/the triple crochet and there's other rnds between the rnds of shells.

    Hi Jean Marie,
I am going to start the dress today for my Great Niece but will be making a smaller one so it won't take me long to finish.

I look forward to seeing your finished dress.

Hi Jean Marie, Did you ever finish this dress looks like from the picture you only had to finish the skirt part. I know you stopped awhile to finish some other dresses then you started on the Whipped Cream dress.
Just wondering as I am making that dress again only in yellow for my great niece. I love this pattern and the puff stitches are so cute on the bodice. I have only to finish the skirt portion and I will be done with that one.

    Hi Spoula,
Yes, I finished the purple dress, the red dress, the sugar plum dress, the Pixie dress( I finished the rnd I was on w/ the sc, ch 2 sc and then I did a few rnds of hdc (the first rnd of the hdc I joined the yarn on the wrong side but just left it that way and turned it to the right side for the next rnds.) , a few rnds of shells and a few rnds of hdc and I think it's long enough but I thought a shell border would look nice. The sleeves aren't exactly the same. One sleeve has 1 more stitch than the other one so one sleeve is slightly smaller so I stretched it (probably stretched the other one too.) Sorry, I haven't finished the whip cream dress yet. I'm also finishing up a blanket. I started working on the rectangle loom (I haven't worked on it much) (you know instead of a round loom it's rectangle) I have other lapgans that I started in January I believe that I was going to have ready to give to the medi center but I might sell them.

ps. Keep Cool. It got up to 99.5 degrees today. Now it's 82.9 degrees at 8:23 pm. It was cooler in the basement. We have the air conditioning on now.

I finished the Pixie dress. Well, I finished it the way I wanted to w/the hdc and shells and sc's except for weaving in yarn ends and putting buttons on the back.
