  1. :)I still am a little green regarding the use of this site, but know I can improve. I have taught 2 complete beginners how to crochet and the are lefties!!!! I think many of the most brilliant people ever born were/are lefties. (not me). I think it is very beautiful where you live. The last time we were out there, we visited the Erie canal on a mule pulled barge, drove past Winterhur, - am I spelling that right??? I wanted to tour the grounds, but kids were tired, went to Sesame Place, swam in the ocean at Atlantic City, and got turned around in Trenton where the night life seemed a little too wild........ I am crocheting for a show this coming Saturday.- Some St. Patty's hats (small), hats, scarves, headbands, bracelets and wrist warmers. Our weather is warming up, but these items seem to be popular right now and hopefully 'til at least after my show. I love to crochet afghans and have made many-usually simple ones
  2. lindamiskowiec-just found your message. Still not really good with technology-lol. Oldest son went to Rutgers/New Brunswick campus. He's 41 now & living in Iowa with wife. Middle child (son)age 38 and wife live in
H ackettstown NJ only seven miles from here in Budd Lake. The "baby" (daughter-age 35) single lives in same apt. complex as brother in Hackettstown. We are in North Jersey only 25 miles from the Delaware Water Gap. Atlantic City a long way south. Married 43 yrs. and enjoy our empty nest. Guess your rels are my neighbors. What's your fave type of crochet? I love afghans- colorful & unusual if possible. Tho I did make ponchos for 2 grown up nieces for Xmas. Have chronic depression but with meds and a tough personality I do very well most of the time. Love this site and meeting people like you. Hope to hear from you again.
  3. I have relatives across the river from Trenton in Morrisville, PA. Other than that, Rutgers, The Sopranos, Atlantic City (been there). My Mom was born in the Newport News area of VA when it was still pretty much undeveloped - they had a farm even though her dad was Navy....
