I guess it was the colors that are going to be disscontinued, but the colors are very pretty. I could not believe my eyes, so check out your local wal-mart if they have a yarn department.
I was at Wal-Mart and did the same thing $2.00 or less, I bought what you're showing and Red Heart Love for $1.50 a skein. So I did good.

A knowledgeable person who can answer questions about products is usually unavailable.
They carry almost NO PRODUCTS "Made in the United States". Most of their merchandise is from Third World countries or China where the workers are extremely poorly treated/paid and almost or completely slave labor.
Check out the facts about their behavior and corporate stances. You may be surprised.
I'm sorry you are having problems with this company but, I'm not here for this type of information. I'm here to get information about Crafts. I have left a lot of sites because all it ended up being was a place to complain about stuff instead of a place to receive help or give help about Crafts. I think we need to only post that kind of information only not this stuff. Sorry but this is not why I am here. Do you have a place to get a good deal on yarn or Craft supplies?

Barbara, Check there end caps and out in the ilse. Our Walmart use to be real big but they down sized and made Electronics bigger ( what a waste of space) they should have left our crafts alone. But now they put the big cages full of yarn out there. Give it a check. You could do what I did. I went to the manager and called 1-800-WALMART and complained about our Craft department because they were going to take our Craft department out completely. There was a whole bunch of us ladies got together to stop that. The closest Craft store or shop to us was over 20 miles away.

I'm sorry Dsynr has such a bad time with Walmart. But we have on in our town
and it is the only place you can even buy a spool of thread without driving 100 miles. The employees are very helpful and polite. They even employ several handicap persons - even one in a wheelchair. And as there was no business to "undercut" and run out. Because there never was any. We have one other grocery store and before Walmart their prices were very high. At least now there is some competition. Thanks to Walmart

I always call and ask before going unless I have to go for grocery or prescriptions. Not all stores do the same thing at the same time.
