Is this how I turn to go to 2nd row and when do I put the marker at the end stitch?

Mark the last stitch right after you make it. There is no turning when you work in the round, unless pattern specifically says so. The marker will let you know when the round is finished. Makes it easy to count your stitches as well. Move your marker to the last stitch every time you complete a round.

    Hi Lucie,
If you are crocheting slippers you are crocheting on both sides of the chain.

Does that mean I don't have to twist to go to next round? Yes, there are dumb questions!

If you mean turn then no. In the round you simply keep going around.

My husband and I have gone out most mornings for coffee for 49+ years. Since they opened, a mile down the road, we have been going to Tim Horton's. I asked one of our favorite peeps if his wife did crochet, she occasionally goes for coffee with him. He said she did, although not much lately--he is going to ask her if she would stop by with him and give me some tips.

That should be a great help to you! Seeing the stitching done right in front of you will give you a very clear sense of how to proceed. Good Luck!
