My birthday is Jan.1 so I am nearly a year older as well. Busy finishing up making gifts. Trying to stay positive but it is difficult some days as we had a death in the family on Dec 23,2015. The pain doesn’t go away, you just make room for it. Are you making any gifts this year? I have crocheted quite a bit but have also made a clock and a Spring wreath to give.

Congratulations on your upcoming birthday imalefty! And many more... Not making gifts, but have bought a few and I have a few more to buy. Giving "gifts of experiences" have become my favorite of them all! I have a couple of those in mind to give this Christmas.

My heart goes out to you. May God's love bring you peace and comfort. You are not alone. God in His infinite wisdom gave us the gift of memory. During these times, push through and think about the good memories that you have of that person. How about doing an activity/project/donation in their memory? When you can, drop by "Roll Call for the Night Owls/Daytime Chat Season 33(General Chit Chat) and we can chat to our heart's content.(((HUGS)))~Butterflyrose~

Since September 2018, I've bought a suite of kitchen appliances and a garbage disposal. I'm really enjoying using them! Recently I purchased the fabric map that I'd been eyeing at Hobby Lobby. It is displayed on my kitchen wall. I love traveling and love reminders of what I enjoy!
I also bought a beautiful black evening dress and shoes plus accessories for our church banquet. It was a lovely affair.
At Christmas time, I stuffed bags of goodies for a few of the sweet lil' ladies(widows) plus one other lady at my church. Christmas socks, white chocolate drizzled popcorn, peppermint sticks, chocolate chip muffin mix(bake in a cup) and journals.
For Valentine's Day, these same special ladies with receive a handcrafted valentine with a sequin coin purse (I bought)with gift inside tied with decorated ribbon bow and a heart-shaped jewel as its centerpiece. My idea! I made them last night and I must say that are very pretty. It was crafting at its best and so much fun!

    With a grateful heart~Butterflyrose
