to make a rectangle shape you stop increasing on the side , you just slip stitch then start the next row, skip the chain(6, turn), which is increasing

try to keep the tension the same, check your completed rows as you go. remember to make a nice straight edge you do a chain ( single- 2 chains,double - 3 chains, triple-4 chains, etc) then alway...
