Looking for a pattern. There are tops out there with crochet necks or bodices, with material sewn bottoms of the tops. Crochet the top of the blouse and then attach the material part of the blouse....

I am knitting a ladies sweater in the round. I am confused. When you knit stockinette stitch on straight needles, knit one row, purl one row.
