Attachment 5485Attachment 5486 I am picking your brains again. This owl phone holder is cute and I need to know if you think it will sell for $5? I would do a lot of different colors and there are 3 different styles on this pattern.

You just amaze me, I will say it again! I will buy one for $10! Who wins? Shirley

See LILI I can & u can do it?? Thank U Faye
hoooooooot let the owls out hoot hooooooot !!! yes they will be sold out for you. owls are the thing now a days, I think they are an awesome little bird and they are so intriguing too! great job again faye! it will be a nice stocking stuffer idea too!
Love it. I like the colors too.
Love it. Its so cute!
Susan: My bid was the highest!!!! Love you, Shirley
Ladies, I have made 4 now and I am raising the price to $10 to start with. It takes more time than I thought and it is tedious making the pieces and putting them together. If they don't sell I'll let you Ladies buy them for $5 is that ok? I still think you each could make them in a night and maybe a little more.
But I like the way you do it, Faye! I think $10 is very good. Shirley
Shirley, you are so bad!!!
I went to the Project Linus meeting and several gals were asking how much to charge for items. We all agreed that pretty much you can't put a price on things considering the time we spend. One gal said she was selling a cross stitch piece at a craft X-mas sale and had $200 on it. Some lady came up and said she would give $500. The gal said she had priced it at $200 and that was what she wanted. The lady said she was from NY, and she knew how much time and energy went into the piece! OMG. The lady said she donated the $ to charity. I definitely think the little owl is worth $10. Shirley
Very cute! How & where do you get the pattern?
Well, I went to look for the pattern and I have no idea where it cam from it says red heart yarn but I can't find it on that so if anyone wants the pattern pm me and give me your email address and I'll email it to you. I am going to start writing down the website when I print a pattern.
www.craftyarncouncil.com I googled owl cell phone kozy and found the site but I can not get it right to click on the link so use the link and then put in owl cell phone kozy and then click on Linda Cyr and it will take you to her site which if you scroll down you will see the pattern. Someone who is good with computers may be able to post the entire link but I am just not computer savvy. Good luck!!
More than $5. Maybe 10.00??
Thank-you very much, I got it all printed out & ready to work one up. I'm not real good with the computer myself. Thanks again Jackie
You're welcome and I hope everyone can get the pattern.
$5 easily, think you could get $10! Absolutely adorable and great job!!
At first I thought that said $101. Couldn't see the exclamation point clearly. Maybe not $101.
Aw shucks, now I have to change all the tags because you said it was ok!!! LOl I'm such a tease but you did set that up for me.
Twin faye:I would like to get this pattern and didn't have much luck....my address is cathybearns@hotmail.com
I'll scan the pattern and get it to you tomorrow if I can. Not one of the four sold. So disappointing!!
Faye Im sorry & shocked the Owl didn't sale. How did you do???? I know you'll tell us , just saying. Did you personnally do OK?
Glad your back, missed you. HUGS Susan M J
I did well over $300 but that was books and art glass and elephant figurines. Most everything that was sitting around my house. Thanks for your concern you are a sweetheart!!!
So cute. Yes I would pay $5 for it. And yes I would make an icord or sturdy chain to carry it around. Like a wristlet size. The teens will love it for sure Does the top close? Perhaps a button and loop so the phone doesn't fall out.
Just my thoughts.
Great job
Yes I crocheted a single crochet chain and the owl's beak is the closure. Nobody even looked at them but one girl and she crocheted and wanted the pattern but she didn't buy the kozy.
Faye: That girl was just plain rude! Jeez! Can you put my name on one? Shirley
Shirley you are too sweet!!
Heck yeah! I'd pay more than $5 for your cute little owl phone holder!
I'm such a crochet-wimp. I'm still so scared of changing colors and having to sew things together. One day I'll finally "grow up' and take the plunge...
Shelley :)
I found the pattern, thanks.
I will make 12 for the Pre-K class. The students can put their crayons in them. My BFF is the teacher and the theme this year for the room is OWLS,
I think they will love them.
Sorry they didn't sell. Some folks have no idea what a bargain is.
Better luck next time
I have a pattern for an owl garland if you're interested. I didn't like the first one I did but I am going to try it again. If you want the pattern go to private messages and send me your email address.
Lee: What a good idea to use the owl for crayons! OMG, the kids will love them and your friend will too!!!! I can just see the little faces when they see them. Shirley
