Lorna needs help please

I finally found a mitten patterns for little hands but I can not fiqure out the thumb. it looked so simple but I need help.I found it Log In / Join the Lion Brand community to get free knitting and free crochet patterns and more! :confused: I would really appreciate the help as I have several pair made with no thumbs.

Hi Lorna........wish I could help you! I can't figure out the thumbs either! I end up making fingerless gloves with NO thumbs. Maybe youtube? I'm such a geek for youtube crochet.
