picking up the hook

I used to crochet regulary, and then it went by the wayside while the kids kept me busy. I have now picked the hook up again and enjoying it immensley. I am using yarn and patterns that I have had or family members have passed down and today was the morning to try and figure out what weight some of the yarns were for these old patterns. In the process I bumbled across this site. So glad. I have been sitting at this computer for hours and find that I now must head to the kitchen to put lunch on the table. I am now watching children during the day and have found I can pick up and put down the hook easier than my sewing. I am excited to browse this site and read what others do with thier fingers to keep busy!
