Making a butterfly from a granny square- idea I had

I took a granny square I had crocheted (granny square is 4 times around and then a ss in top of ch 3 to end). Fold square in half and put a pipe cleaner around the center of the square and shape the pipe cleaner for the antenna of the butterfly and spread out the wings (the square)

It looks like I use a size I crochet hook. I just made another granny square w/a size I crochet hook and it's about the same size( probably depends on how tight or loose the stitches are)
