Sole for crocheted slippers - need your ADVICE
Hi. I have some oldish crocheted slippers my late mother made. Before the bottoms wear out, I would like to place some sort of leatherette (not real leather) soles so they don't develop holes, as home-made slippers usually do, in short order.
So, my question is: what do you call this stuff from which you cut out soles? Where do you get it? I don't know where to start looking as I do not know how it's referred to. Also, do you know if it comes with glue on one side so you can just stick it on to the bottom of the slippers instead of having to sew it on?
Many thanks. - MeToo.
