Hello,
Here is an illustration for crocheting in a chain space. Hopefully, this will help you understand:
Crochet In A Chain Space Illustrated
Hi I'm Sarah nice to meet you. I crochet blankets and afghans what to you do?
[QUOTE=Mariah509;14058]what is that?. It was in my crochet book in a project,I can't finish the project without knowing what it is!.
Mariah it is the space made between two stitches. e.g, let's say you crocheted a dc in a stitch in the previous row, then you chain 2, then a dc in the next stitch on the previous row, the space made with the ch. 2, is the ch2 sp. Sometimes the patt. will say e.g., 3dc in next ch., ch,.2, skp. 2 dc, 3 dc in next dc. That sp. made by the ch.2 is your ch2 sp. so in the next row they will tell you to do whatever in that ch2 sp.
I hope this is clear for you and I haven't confused you more. Take good care.
