Hello from a long time knitter and crocheter
Hi! I am a 66 year old grandmother of 5 from ages 5 months to 12. I have knit or crochet multiple blankets for each of these little stinkers and the older ones are always asking for another. Of course, since they are the lights of my life, I am more than happy to do so and I let them pick the colors they want and you can never have too many blankets in the frigid mid-west.
My mother taught me to knit when I was four. I was so impressed with my mother's knitting that I wanted to learn. She worked nights as a telephone operator at the time and would go to work with a bag of yarn and come home with a completed sweater for my brother! She then taught me to crochet when I was eight. I love making things for people and blankets are the most requested.
