The flowered square is Tiger Lily on page 89 and the plain square is Sea Urchin on page 181.
I left off the 10th round in the Sea Urchin square and instead added 2 rows to each pattern to make the stitch count tally up and add a little more background behind the flower.
There is an extra row of dc with 2 dc, 2 ch, 2 dc in the corners and a row of single crochet with 2, 2, and 2 in the corner .
That brought the sc count on both to 35 for each side so that they could be joined evenly.
