New from Jackson ME

Posted first time in pictures section. Don't know how but I did. Looking forward to chatting with you all. I love to crochet doileys. I would like to learn how to do the shading with sewing threads. Not to good at putting colors together. So If anyone can offer some help it would be greatly appreciated. I have 29 birds, 4 cats & 2 large dogs. Also have rheumatoid arthritus so I am a little slow. Best time for me to crochet is in the evening when the critters are all in bed.

When you are speaking of shading with the sewing threads, are you speaking of a crochet technique? I know of doing this with sewing projects. I will have to do a little more research.
