I have made quite a lot of what I call Shoulder Warmers for the residents in our Assisted Living and Nursing Home sections. It started out as Wheelchair Wrap from CrochetPatternCentral.com but that was way too long but you can stop any time when it is long enough to suit you. I wear mine to our dining room for lunch to protect from the air conditioning.
Great idea Carrie! Never thought to make things for the "older crowd"! I'm sure they really appreciate not only that somebody made something for them but that you thought of them in the first place!
