Hello from Texas!
I've been enjoying CrochetTalk for some time and finally decided it's time to become a more active participant. I've really enjoyed the helpful hints and suggestions of so many talented folks here. I've been crocheting for 50+ years; my grandmother patiently taught me when I was a little girl and I'm so thankful. Crochet therapy has been my 'rock'!

Hello, PSteiner, Y'm another Texan, I live over near San Antonio on I35. There is also a person in Katy. We will have to get together sometime. The people here are great. Someone can find you an answer to almost anything you want to know. I picked up on your comment your grandmother taught you to crochet when you were very young. I think every one of us got the crochet bug at a very young age from a grandparent. Are you any kin to the Steiners over here that are in the ranching and rodeo business? Margaret

Hello 'Texas transplant' - The Steiners I'm related to are from Pennsylvania. I actually married into the family. I'm a native Houstonian currently living in Tomball. I love San Antonio, have visited there several times. I actually have family from Alabama who will be in San Antonio later this month for the lights along the River Walk!
