This stitch I started a blanket with recently. I followed a youtube video to learn it, haven't gotten too far on it only due to also starting 2 other blankets at the same time.

It is really an easy stitch to work, just looks hard at first. :D

This looks like a really comfy blanket, especially for a "little one" to be snuggled up in. And Corina, I want to thank you for the direct pattern page too. I put it in my Ravelry "Q", so it will be so easy to get to should I decide to make this, and now I don't have to save the entire edition of this particular newsletter.
