Hi Loremaster,
Nice, even stitching.
Very pretty. They should love it.
Love the colors
Thanks! I am working hard to improve.
Love the colors and pattern. Would you please list the yarn and tell us the pattern if available? Thanks, Carol
I used Red Heart lavender, Coret Sage 1 pound skein, Coret deep blue 1 pound (I forget the name) and Loops and Threads Impeccable Big, color 04008 (Luxury). I made up the pattern and can only estimate what I did. Here goes:
Ch 160
Random 2 dc, 1 Ch for 11 rows. At end of each row, dc and turn.
Row 12: change color to Corey Sage, 2 dc, ch, 2dc (1 shell). End of row, dc and turn.
Row 13 and following: in Ch of each shell, 2 dc, ch, 2 dc. Switch to Red Heart lavender when you feel ready and continue shell pattern. Use entire skein of lavender, switch to deep blue (I used about 12 oz.), another skein of lavender and back to sage.
To finish, return to 11 rows of random 2 dc, 1 ch. Make border with three rows sc, shell stitching around each corner. Hope this helps and I hope you enjoy making your own!
Thanks for taking the time to write the instructions. I'm going to have to wait till I finish a baby blanket I'm half through with. It seems to be taking forever. It's called Boy Wrapper on Annie's Crafts. The special stitch is a dc in the back of the previous stitch.
Very nice! beautiful!!!
