Twin Stitch Blanket

This is an afghan I did using the pattern for the Twin Stitch Afghan Square that I found on Free Crochet Patterns. List is on the left side of the page, click on afghan squares, and scroll down a bit and you will see it on the right side, very easy stitch and since it gives a multiple, it can be done for almost anything, Currently, I am using it for a prayer shawl.

I added the edging which is just adding a contrasting or same color to last stitch worked after you fasten off, ch 2, then 1 dc in sm space, then 2dc in each end of dc row, 4 dc in each corner but do twin stitch in each twin stitch. However, any edging you prefer is fine.

Thanks, actually it was part of the donation to my friend's yearly baby shower that she runs in February for different outreaches. It is an easy but pretty stitch and works up very quickly.

LlRoe you and your friend do a worthy job making beautifu pieces for others. I really get something from this and I dont need to be thanked as I did at one time. Lacking social life I went into it with that and now i know a smile is given with a Thank You thru God. Beautifu pieces & job well done.

That looks like a nice, quick, pattern for baby blankets. I will try this soon. Thanks for sharing.
