Very nice. I have a book on this and it looks a little intimidating to me. Is it difficult to learn?

great crochet work! I can't wait to see the finished afghan! it looks like it will be warm and toasty! I hate working on blankets and afghans in the summertime~~~~~ so hot~~~~~~!

Bavarian stitch looks like a fun challenge. I have done a small lapghan with this stitch 30+ yrs ago. I may try again. Like your afghan very pretty & nicely done. Susan M J

You're doing a great job. I bought everything I needed to make a blanket for my son, and he moved to the warm part of Texas. It's a heavy stitch for that area. I've done scarves and headbands though. I love the look.
