OK. Let's see if I can answer some of the questions. LOL I used the one pound of Caron skiens lots of yarn in those skiens. and I used 4 total to make it and Hubby says it is about 8 feet long and 5 feet wide. Guessing on the measurements as I haven't put a measuring tape to it. I winged the whole thing pretty much I had a quideline to go by to make it oval but sorta just did my own thing. Thanks for all the wonderful compliments! It really looks better on the floor than the picture. Yes, it did make quite the blanket while I crochete, got tangled up in it a few times and it kept getting caught on the reclinger foot rest. The cats were really funny with it, they had to inspect it as I was putting it down they had to walk all over it and smell it and check it out first. Silly critters.

Thanks so much! I really appreciate your kind words. It was a lot of work but it looks great on the floor if I do say so myself. It is so nice to have it completed and in use!

Our cats act like it is an invasion everytime something new is brought into the house. They have to inspect every inch and make sure it is acceptable. Crazy cats. But I love them to death!
