Christmas order for a cancer patient for 2012!
This order I had for a cancer patient recovering from breast cancer. She is doing great. The hat is all half double crochet with a flower pin embellishment and a crab stitch edging on the last row of the hat. The yarn I used was red heart super haver in "Pretty 'n Pink".

I guess if I had to go thru something so scarry, having such a cute hat would make me feel better.
There's not a word so ugly in the English language as the word Cancer. I would get myself a cool hat for every day of the week,
Special ones for holidays & Sundays. I'd get wild with color, sparkle, flowers, add brooches. My head would never be boring or cold.
