150 yards would make a really nice size basket!! I use about 26 yards of yarn to make a simple cell phone case, so your basket would be about 5 times the size.
I am going to set up cell phone kits to sell, that's why I know the amount of yarn, LOL

The only problem is, you couldn't make a cell phone case with this cord. It's way too thick and heavy. Good luck with the cell phone kits.

the large basket was made with Bonnie Craft cord. I ordered it on line from Jo-Ann's. Item # 1098490. When I bought it, it was on sale. Otherwise it's too expensive for me. The small baskets I make with nylon cord. Walmart is starting to sell that.
