Heavy wool jacket
This jacket was crocheted with 2 strands of sock yarn, in different combinations of 3 different colours (including one variegated yarn, just to make things more interesting.) I hope to add a belt and remove those 2 little temporary clasps.

Is this for you? It looks nice. It also looks heavy like you said it was.

Yes, it's for me. Kind of large, though. Indeed, it is both heavy & warm. Many thanx for the compliment, J-M.

Hi MeToo, I like this sweater and the colors. I bet that took some time to do and it looks like it would be warm.

Many thanks, Spoula. This started out as a project to use up a bunch of sock yarn and then, lo and behold - it always happens - I ran out and had to order more. Of course there is now some yarn left over...can't win, can ya.

Hi, MeToo! I like the colors of your coat. What a good idea to make it with sock yarn! It looks nice and warm. Did you have a pattern, or make it up yourself? I crocheted a jacket one time with no pattern. It turned out pretty good. Surprised myself!

Thanks for the compliment. I don't suppose you have a photo of the self-designed jacket you made? I'd like to see it.
Well, I sort-of used a pattern but changed it a fair bit - as most of us do from time to time, I guess. I am sorry it took me so long to acknowledge your comments; I just don't always look for these things.
