    Baby Christening Gown & Bonnet

    Hello all,
I just finished crocheting a christening gown, bonnet and booties for our granddaughter to use. Her 2nd baby is due in 5 weeks, so I got it finished just in time. I put it on a doll that my mother made many years ago, just to show how it looks on a child. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo of the booties. Everything is already wrapped up in a gift box, so I'll just have to photograph them when the box is opened next month. I hope the outfit becomes a family heirloom.

The photo of the bonnet won't upload, but it matches the gown. Also, the photo of the gown on the doll won't upload. BUMMER!

Hi Jo, It's just lovely. I am sure the mother will save it for her long after she gets to wear it. She will remember the beautiful gown her grandma made just for her.

Thank you Pookie and Spoula! Actually, I am the great grandma of this baby. I have now started crocheting a pink sweater, just in case it is a girl! They know what the gender is, but aren't telling anyone. I think it is a girl.....well, I hope it is! LOL!

I just have to sew my "Crocheted for you by Jo Baehr" label on the sweater and wrap them up. ~~ Jo

That pink set is most beautiful. As is the christening gown, of course.
