What a lovely doily! I used to make a lot of doilies. I think I would like to make some again after seeing yours!

Ola, You always have the prettiest doilies and I love this one.
Doilies are how I learned to crochet with a number 10 steel needle. I don't think I see well enough to try to do these again unless I use a bigger needle. I am just putting the final touches on a cross stitch pattern I have had for years and forgot all about it until I was cleaning out my sewing box. I can tell you the years flew by and my eye site with them.
Thanks for sharing your lovely creations with us.

What a beautiful job you have done. I love this pattern. 50 years ago, my husband's grandmother made me this same doily for my first bridal shower. After she died in 1988, we took it off our coffee table and had it matted and framed. It has hung on the wall in either our bedroom or the dining room all these years, and I cherish it as much today as the day it was given to me. Thanks for bringing back a wonderful memory.
