I finished knitting the 'duckie illusion scarf'

It took me 8 days of knitting about all day and some knitting on the 9th day to get 5 pages of the pattern knitted. I probably started the 6th page of the pattern that same night and then some knitting on the next couple of days. So it took about 11 days to knit this scarf. The pattern is 6 pages.

Thank you Spoula! The first 2 pictures are the knit side. When you knit something you have a knit side (right side) and a purl side (the wrong side). The knit side basically looks like lines until you hold it at an angle then you can see the picture. The 3rd picture is also the knit side but the camera was held at more of an angle. The last 2 pictures are the purl side or the wrong side.

I started another illusion scarf. This one is of a rose.

Hi Jean Marie, I posted a shawl pattern yesterday it is called Briolove Shawl not illusion but if you take a look at the pattern you will see that it does what your duck pattern did. You see the design on the other side. You might like to try the shawl and put it in you for sale bin if you don't like to wear shawls.

If anyone does the illusion rose scarf there is a error on page 7 of the pattern. One line has k,p,k,p,k,p,k,p,k,p,p(the 2nd purl should've been a knit.) It's the 3rd white row on page 7.

    Hi Jean Marie,
I like your duck scarf! you did a great job. I haven't tried illusion knitting, because I prefer crochet to knit. Maybe I could do something small sometime. Thanks for sharing!
