Oh yes! This is truly a beautiful and thoughtful project. I would like to make one of these and it will probably be full of scripture and prayer in every single stitch. However, I must say most all of my projects are full of prayer, that I will do it right and finish.

This is the first I've heard of a Scripture Afghan....Thank you so much for sharing a truly blessed idea.After thinking about this idea I think i"m going to change it up a bit by doing appliques or charted designs to fit the scriptures...lambs,lions, hearts,angels,crosses,stars,moons,face,hands,ears, feet etc. again the possibilities are endless for making the pattern your own. Nita, this is a fantastic idea. I pray that all lives of your recipients will be greatly transformed and blessed as they learn God's Word. What a way to memorize His Word. Just beautiful. May the Lord, increase you as you use your giftings and talents for HIS Glory.
