Jean Marie said that she watched a video describing the HDC3rd stitch. Maybe that should be HDC 3rd loop stitch? If so, there are some videos on youtube showing how to make it.

And this woman is using a Furls hook. Lah-dee-dah. $79 or more for a wood hook. I want one, too...

Anyway, Spou, that is a sweet little purse!

    Hello Myra,
After you make a row of HDC's on the next row turn the "V" stitch toward your body and the very back loop is the HDC 3rd stitch.

I just saw where MeToo just posted a video on how to do it. (thanks MeToo)

Thank You, Spoula..... now I recognize it. I have seen it before, but did not know what it was called.
    Thank You, again.

Thank You, Me too for getting back to me on this. It turns out (thanks to you) I have seen this titch before, but did not know what it was called.
I think, when I saw it before it was used as kind of a thermal stitch for pot holders and the like.
    Thank You, again.

Hi Myra, I just saw a pattern that used this same stitch and they called it the Camel stitch. I guess there are many names for this stitch.
