Hi Jackiemm, I watched you tube videos to learn how to knit. The lavender sweater I posted on this forum was a 2nd attempt to knit. I saw how to knit and purl. This pattern had so many different stitches I had to look on the Internet to see what they were and then you tube to see how to do them. The sweater turned out OK but it was very hard for me to do. I am not a knitter nor a quitter so I knitted a basket weave sweater next. I had some trouble and finally got it done. Then I went back to crochet my first love.
