    Rose Doily

This is my first attempt at adding flowers and extras, and I’m not so sure I like the flowers starched. Maybe I should cover the flowers with a baggy, and spray the rest with spray starch?

Hello! I think flowers look good. I do not starch things like these... only flat things. Nice doily!!!

Thank you! I agree, they look prettier sometimes before they’re starched! Are you able to do any crocheting yet? How is your daughter?

Unfortunately I do not have time to crochet. I help my daughter with her son. He is 4,5 months old. She stays with the baby at night. I wake up and stay with him and let her sleep. After that I go to work...

Don’t work too hard, and enjoy that baby!

I hope that things will get easier for the lot of you, kl1000. I recall my ma telling me how the women of her generation and my grandmother's, had to sometimes take the baby in a basket with them to do chores. (This was on the farm.) Life is too easy now, it's producing weaklings.

Very nice! Try spray starching from the wrong side; see if that works for you.
