    Mr. Mustache Pillow

    Mr. Mustache Pillow-img_2087-jpg

I made this pillow for a friend who is obsessed with the whole mustache thing. She's been having a rough time of it lately and this really cheered her up.

    Hi William,
It's nice that you cheered someone up. The white is a pretty stitch - what stitch is it?

To be honest, I'm not sure what the stitch is called. It didn't say in the pattern I followed.
It was a sc, ch 3, 3 dc in the same stitch.

For the foundation row, it was ch 40. In 4th ch from hook sc, ch 3, 3 dc. Skip 3 ch and repeat until last 4 ch. Skip 3 and sc in last chain. Turn, ch 3 and dc in first sc. Skip first 3 dc and in ch 3 sp work your sc, ch 3, 3 dc. Repeat to end and sc into top of first ch 3. Turn and repeat.

Tackle the crochet box pattern with this tutorial (video & diagram)
This is the box stitch but she does 3 dc in the first sc and you have 1 dc in the first sc.
