suzyq660 I like all those different stitches that border is unique and I really like the square actually I like the whole thing.

Good job and the colors look nice a warm.

Just beautiful, I cannot do those, the stitching together thing. It drives me crazy.

That's why most times I do one piece, but if it is something I just have to .... Well, you know...
Actually the squares are about 30 inches on this one, so I only have to make 9, and then put a wide border in the spice color.

The center, triangles and border are all part of the charlotte square pattern, so the triangles are crocheted right onto the center square, and then the border is crocheted right onto the triangles, all as one pattern. Once I get the first petal, or square side figured out, then it breezes along. After the first one it doesn't seem nearly as difficult as I thought it would be.
I used to avoid complicated looking patterns, but if you just look at it as one row at a time, they usually turn out to be doable.

    Mandala Madness

I ran across Mandala Madness while browsing Ravelry. I wasn't sure about the colors at first, but the further I get, the more I like! This is about halfway there.Suzyq660 afghans-img_20180704_210704816_ll-jpg

    Thanks!
This is the first one I've ever had to watch videos to figure out! I have had two rows, so far, that I couldn't figure out without them.
I love one that keeps me challenged. I tend to get bored sometimes, and stuff them away in the storage room.
Someone did one all in ivory. It was beautiful. There are lots of different textures.
