    Afghan for my Sister

My sister is pregnant with my little nephew who will arrive next month. Since she's getting so many baby gifts, with more to come, I made her a special afghan for her to use while she's in the hospital. She'll be there for a few days because she'll have to have a c-section. I'll give it to her when I go to the hospital to meet my new little nephew, Max.

    Hi Shelley,
Pretty colors. Looks like a pretty big blanket. I have a nephew Max too.

Max is a great name. The blanket will fit a twin size hospital bed. I know she'll like it. She loves anything handmade. She'll be surprised to get a gift for herself.

My dad's name was Max and I miss him so much. He passed away in 1962 the day after Christmas. It feels so strange when I think that I have out-lived him by over 20 years.

It is really pretty. And a gift for her is awesome. I have always tried to give a "ma ma" gift too. Just a little something special.
