    Thanks friend, This really does help. I have been sitting here ripping out the ones that I don't like the way they look. I am going to print a picture and put it in my notebook so I can refer to it when I get started again. Do you think, when you have time, could you post a close-up pic of the the back where you join the seam that completes the circle? That would be row 25 where you do the
    sl sts to join the last red and white rows. Thanks, you are so good to help to me! Patty

    Hope this helps . and as we talked about you should fold the right sides together and slip stitch in the back loops of row 24 and the free loops of the beginning chains . the Best way i can explain it is you will slip stitch loosely in the stitches that you would sc, hdc, dc, 2dc, dc, 2tr, and tr if you were to do another row

    Thanks Eva I think I finally maybe ) figured it out. One thing I don't think I was doing is do the sc in the ring on the join row. Once I do that it puts me more in position to do slip stitches. I am back to trying to figure out the join as you go thing. Thanks again, Patty
