My Winter Snowflake Blanket
So my Mom bought me the yarn to make this blanket for Christmas. She was getting everything else for others, and asked what I wanted. I said I'd like to make myself something instead of for everyone else for a change. So I went with her to the JoAnn's and came out with enough yarn to make my blanket.
I started at the beginning of Feb and finished about three weeks ago. I absolutely love it! Purple is my favorite color and Winter my favorite season. So I wanted something that looked like winter, but didn't scream it. I think it came out lovely! I also tried several different patterns with this yarn before I hit on somethin that I loved. I wanted this to be something I fell in love with if it was going to be mine. And mission accomplished!
What do you ya'll think? It measures 58''X 72''. Perfect for taking naps!

It's lovely! I especially like that the snowflakes aren't in every square. It's not fussy looking. Enjoy your blanket...lovely colors, too.
