    Jean Marie's Baby Blanket Pictures

    Pictures to share with you:

As you can see by the measuring tape that the blanket was 43 inches. The pattern said it was supposed to be about 45 inches. I don't know why the blue is curved at the beginning.

I started with the blue. I don't know if you can tell but I didn't quite have some of the diamond shapes(bobbles) on the blue color.

The color by the blue was green like in the picture above. I don't know why it looks like an aqua color in the next picture.

I wrote my name on with a black marker and then went over it with a fabric marker so it wouldn't wear out in the wash. The label is an iron-on that I sewed on the blanket.

That's me standing on the piano bench w/the blanket on the floor. The label on the blue corner of the blanket is the washing instructions.

This is the back of the blanket.

These are the banners I made for baptism for boy babies. She said I didn't have to put the names on them. I just put the dowels in the banners for the picture. The words and the flowers on the banners are iron-ons. She had all the felt, etc. that I could use to make the banners. They also will put on a scripture verse - a life verse on the banners. The letters were done with stencils. The flowers were already cut and I traced some extra petals, stems and leaves and did some more letters and numbers w/stencils. After putting the fringes on w/a glue gun that she had, I trimmed the felt by the fringe. There was a scissors in the stuff for making the banners too!
