How many skeins of the Redheart Unforgettable Yarn should I purchase for this shawl? You did a wonderful job with these shawls....

Love the colors on both. Are they gifts?

Those are beautiful shawls! I just finished a shawl myself and loved it.

I've used the yarn you mentioned before on a scarf, it was the Tidal and I also have a couple of balls of the cappuccino. While I was making the the scarf, I noticed that the thickness of the yarn varied greatly throughout the ball. Sometimes it was really thick like a size 5, and other times it was really thin, like maybe a 2. Did you notice this? Or did I just get a bad batch? I haven't done anything with the cappuccino because of that, but I love the long striping of it and the feel.

I love your shawls. In fact, I like yours better than the original pattern. Guess we should all think "outside the box" when we see a pattern for the first time. We might be pleasantly surprised at what can be created. Thanks for sharing.
