    crocheted shawl with pockets

Hi this is Cyndy from Mn.
The weather here is cold and snowy. I would like to make a shawl with pockets. I found one about 2 weeks ago and lost it in the house. Crazy. My house is not messy but with the holidays it might have be tossed away with the paper.
    Can some one help me?

or find one, googled of course, a pattern you like, and just add squares on the ends for pockets, that is essentially all any of them are.

I can't put my finger on the pattern right now (will look for it), but the pattern I have with pockets made the rectangular shawl longer and then folded up the ends equally on both sides and sewed the sides like you would in attaching granny squares together. Turned the pockets inside out and you have a shawl with pockets. Hope this helps.

Kayemory, I guess I really am looking for a wrap. You have a good idea with making a bit longer and turning up for pockets. I knew I could find help here.
    Thanks

You can easily make pockets for a wrap. Using the same fabric pattern used to make the wrap, crochet two squares of the appropriate size and attach them to the front of the wrap in the proper place and either slip stitch around the edge of the square (pocket) or sew it in place with a yarn needle. Hopes this gives you an idea.
